Greetings, Dr. Stephie here. It occurred to me that Brilliance Mining is also quite important for self-care. There’s a strong connection.
As you know, self-care is one of the four ”Cornerstones of Success” I’ve outlined recently. As I was thinking about that more, I realized how strong this connection is between Brilliance Mining and self-care. That is because when you mine your brilliance and extract it and make it visible and actionable for other people, you now can delegate things you couldn’t delegate before. You can trust that actually the work will get done well, as well as you would have done it. That’s a major feat.
Just imagine how much stress will fall on your shoulders and how far less anxiety you will feel. That way, you have a chance to take care of yourself, and it’s not as likely that you will burn out. That happens to a lot of entrepreneurs; trust me on that. We keep going and going until one day we go, “Man, I’m tired!”
If it helps you, I invite you to realize that you are actually empowering other people. You enable them to do things they couldn’t do before, and they can do them without you having to hover over their shoulders. By realizing that and reminding yourself of that, it may feel a little bit less “selfish” to take care of yourself. Taking care of yourself is not a luxury, but a necessity.
There is another aspect to consider as well. What you and your team have started will continue while you go somewhere, wherever that is being on vacation, or working on something new. Both are important. Keeping being innovative is another ”Cornerstone of Success”.
Eventually, you will be gone for good for whatever reason; you retire, or of course, none of us live forever. You will know that with Brilliance Mining, the process of passing on “your baby” is taken care of. Again, that impacts your stress level in a positive way. That is part of self-care.
Wouldn’t you agree? As business owners and visionaries, we feel so strongly about our businesses and the mission that caused us even to create those businesses. Or it could be a non-profit or any other organization or mission. To know that all of this is in good hands, even when we’re not there for a week or two (ar at all, eventually) also is a form of self-care. That is because we are able to lower our stress and anxiety.
I’m Curious
How do you feel about using brilliance mining as a vehicle to boost your self-care? Let me know, please.
