I got to thinking about this: It takes an amazing amount of practice to develop an ever-higher level of self-discipline. Yet, your success comes hand-in-hand with self-discipline. I realized: Success and self-discipline are one happy couple.
Greetings, Dr. Stephie here. There is one happy couple I want to tell you about: Success and self-discipline.
I got to thinking about this: It takes an amazing amount of practice to develop an ever-higher level of self-discipline. Yet, your success comes hand-in-hand with self-discipline.
That is what I’m discovering: For over 250 days by now, I have written daily Brilliance Nuggets, recorded and produced them, and done all that is involved with it. Once you have made a commitment like that and established an audience that is watching whether or not you’re doing it, you’ve effectively raised your bar.
It got me thinking about how happy that couple really is between self-discipline and success.
Let me confess to you quite humbly and vulnerably that my level of self-discipline is still something that I’m working on because there are still some things where my (self)leadership is not as highly developed as I would like.
Today, I invite you to join me in my ‘boat’, and ask yourself, ‘In what area can you boost your self-discipline and increase the happiness of the couple between your self-discipline and your success?‘Dr. Stephie
In what area can you boost your self-discipline and consequently increase your success?
P.S.: I appreciate you commenting and sharing this with others. Thank you!
