Greetings. In this nugget, I want to talk about the biggest pitfall that I see people falling into when creating what I call a Brilliance System. In other words, a system that helps you transfer what’s in your brain to someone else. Or it could be what’s in the brain of someone on your team to someone else. 

That pitfall is not getting feedback soon enough. That’s important because it’s impossible to predict what your target audience will miss in your explanations. 

What might be confusing to them? You make an educated guess for sure. We work very hard on that. Getting that feedback is fundamentally important to the success and the return on the investment of a Brilliance System. 

Please embrace the idea that you can create a minimally viable training system and test it. If you have a new person coming on board and your system isn’t quite finished yet, put it into action nonetheless. If the system is hanging together well enough where you think, okay, the bare bones are there. You can use it and get benefit from it right then and there. Furthermore, you will make the system so much better. 

The second iteration of your training system is better than the first one, for sure. It always is because you got feedback.
